As they continue to expand they are looking for a strategic and analytical Risk Manager to join their team.

The Role

As Risk Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the company’s operations, reputation, and financial performance. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and embedding the company’s enterprise risk management (ERM) framework.
• Conducing regular risk assessments and report findings to senior leadership.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and ensure compliance with relevant insurance regulations (e.g., Solvency II, FCA, PRA).
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance, and IT departments to identify operational and financial risks.
• Maintaining the risk register and ensure mitigation plans are documented and tracked.
• Leading incident investigations and root cause analyses for significant risk events.
• Preparing risk reports and dashboards for executive and board-level presentations.
• Assisting with internal audits and external regulatory reviews
