Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: circa £35,000 DOE

Reed Recruitment is proud to be working on behalf of our client to recruit a Road Freight Operator (Exports) to join their well established branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for logistics and customer service to join a dynamic and supportive team.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering outstanding service to customers. This is a varied position that involves liaising with carriers, handling bookings, and supporting customs and invoicing processes.

• End to end EU road freight exports
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
• Liaise with carriers, hauliers, and internal teams
• Take and process bookings via phone and email
• Provide quotations and support sales activities
• Create and manage freight jobs using internal systems
• Prepare customs documentation (CDS / TSS / Thyme-it)
• Coordinate final delivery bookings
• Handle filing, post, PODs, and invoicing

• Experience within road freight operations (ideally EU exports)
• A proactive, mature, and dynamic personality
• Strong understanding of customer satisfaction and trust
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
