The Role

As Robot Welder the main duties include:
* Loading of mild steel components into jigs and fixtures using clamps to hold parts into place;
* Manually operate robot(s) making basic corrections;
* Visual inspection of parts;
* Ability to work to and maintain proven run times;
* General housekeeping duties as required.
* Some welding experience and knowledge of programme setting an advantage.

The role consists of a basic 38 hour working week (shift work will be required). Rates depending upon skills and experience.

Essential Skills

* Ability to read and understanding engineering drawings;
* Experience working within a fast paced engineering environment;
* Good communications skills at all levels;
* Works well under pressure;
* IT literate;
* Flexible in their approach and attitude.

Desirable Skills

* Welding experience;
* Knowledge of programme setting;
* Crane licence.
