Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Lead

Location: Bristol - 2 days/week
Contract: Until 31/03/2027 (possible extension)
IR35: In Scope
Rate: £600 /day
Clearance: Active SC strongly prefered

We are seeking an experienced RBAC Lead to provide leadership, governance and assurance across a major Defence sector digital transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the RBAC strategy, governance, roadmap and assurance.
Assure supplier RBAC design against security and architecture standards.
Ensure least privilege, segregation of duties, auditability and role lifecycle controls.
Work across business, security, architecture, data, testing and supplier teams.
Identify and manage RBAC risks, issues, dependencies and exceptions.
Support access reviews, testing and future operational RBAC processes.
Challenge supplier designs and provide evidence-based recommendations.

Essential Experience

Strong experience leading/assuring RBAC and access governance in complex enterprise environments.
Knowledge of IAM, least privilege, SoD, Secure by Design and access lifecycle management.
Strong supplier assurance and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate autonomously and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Oracle Fusion / ERP experience desirable
