Here at Howells, we are working with a leading UK Contractor to find a Roofer with sufficient knowledge of other trades to join their team in and around London, to work on Voids and occupied properties doing repairs & maintenance.

Working the Social Housing sector, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge by tackling a variety of repairs/maintenance in social housing properties. Your duties will include various roofing repairs and minor carpentry/guttering when needed.

We are looking for candidates who are available to start as soon as possible. Vans and fuel cards provided.

This is a full time role with a 40 hour working week.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Roofer in social housing or similar environment.
City & Guilds / NVQ in Roofing (desired)
Knowledge of NHF Sors desirable
Full, UK, Clean driving license, minimum of 3 Points
Relevant trade qualifications in Roofing, CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness cert. (Desirable)
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
Experience using a PDA, good IT skills with experience using job scheduling software
Willingness to undertake a DBS check - with no unspent criminal convictions What's on offer:
