Roofing Contracts Manager

Job Overview

We are working with an established roofing contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager (with a strong background in roofing) to join their team in Colchester. You will ideally have experience managing multiple projects and subcontractors, with excellent organisational, communication and commercial skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced roofing professional looking for a long-term position with a reputable business, managing a varied portfolio of roofing projects across the commercial and construction sectors.

Responsibilities

* Managing multiple roofing contracts from start to completion

* Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

* Managing programmes, budgets and project resources

* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and contractors

* Monitoring project progress and commercial performance

* Carrying out regular site visits across projects

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements

* Resolving any operational or contractual issues

* Working closely with the commercial and operational teams

Requirements

* Proven management experience within the construction industry, specifically in roofing or related fields

* Construction related qualifications and certificates

* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts efficiently

* Confident managing multiple contracts simultaneously

* Commercially aware with strong attention to detail

* An excellent communicator and relationship builder

* Comfortable dealing with clients, subcontractors and site teams

* Proactive, organised and able to work independently

* Full UK driving licence
