We’re looking for a hands-on Roofing Site Manager to oversee works across multiple sites within the South West, delivering planned and reactive roofing works within social housing. You’ll be managing a mix of direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You will spend the majority of your time out on site, with occasional days in the Exeter office for admin and reporting. THE ROLE - Manage day-to-day roofing site operations across multiple projects - Oversee pitched roofing (slate, tile, concrete) and flat roofing systems - Supervise roofing teams and subcontractors - Ensure full Health & Safety compliance (RAMS, site standards) - Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams - Problem-solve on site including materials, labour, and delivery challenges - Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and documentation - Ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines - Travel between sites across the South West WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Proven experience as a Roofing Site Manager or Roofing Supervisor - Strong technical knowledge of pitched roofing (slate, tile, concrete) and flat roofing systems - Experience within social housing, planned works, or maintenance - SMSTS qualification (essential) - First Aid qualification - Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations - Full UK driving licence - Comfortable working in a field-based role with travel THE PERSON - Collaborative and team-focused - Strong relationship builder - Solutions-focused with a practical approach - Organised and proactive - Hands-on and accountable APPLY NOW If you’re an experienced Roofing Site Manager looking for a role where you can take ownership, work on live sites, and deliver real results, we’d like to hear from you.
