Role: Room Leader

Salary: £30,000 Hours: 36 hours a week

Area: Tooting Our client in currently seeking an experienced qualified and confident Room Leader with Level 3 to work in the baby room at their Tooting nursery in South West London.

Job Details:
- Supporting Staff in the allocated rooms and ensuring adult/child ratios are met
- Observing children and managing their learning and development record
- To work with EYFS Curriculum and planning exciting age appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors
- Be a key person, complete observations and reports where required.
- To build positive relationships parents and Ofsted
- Working to nursery policy and procedures in relation to Safeguarding and Health & Safety
- Attending parent’s evenings and par take in open days, sports days, summer fairs etc.
- Attending staff meetings and training as required
- To maintain confidentiality
- Must be Montessori, Reggio Emilia or Forest School qualified
- Must have a clean DBS which is either valid or on update service
- Must have 2 references
- Must be articulate and confident
- Must be a strong team player and leader
