Location: Sampford Spiney, Devon
Salary: From £23 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (Term Time Only)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Are you a Level 6 Qualified Early Years Teacher with leadership experience and a passion for outdoor learning?

We are recruiting for a unique nature-based educational setting on the edge of Dartmoor. This role offers the opportunity to combine teaching, leadership and management while supporting children through creative, outdoor learning experiences.

The Role

Lead the daily running of the setting.

Support and manage a small team.

Deliver engaging outdoor learning.

Oversee curriculum planning and EYFS standards.

Maintain safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.

Build relationships with families and professionals.

Support staff development and manage key administration.

Requirements

Level 6 Early Years qualification.

QTS desirable.

Leadership experience in Early Years or Primary education.

Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge.

Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

Desirable Experience

Forest School/outdoor education.

Alternative education.

SEND experience.

Creative or holistic learning approaches.
