Rope Access Technician L1 & L2

WCC Group is a growing civils, specialist rope access and confined space company operating in Helensburgh on the West Coast of Scotland. Our works include maintenance, emergency cover, rescue cover, service contracts and various project works. Rope access-related work is regular but forms only part of the role, the ability to adapt to other roles when required is essential.
WCC Group is seeking experienced Level 1 and Level 2 rope access technicians to work on-shore in a full-time, permanent position within our team.

You will be expected to rotate into a 12-hour dayshift rope access rescue cover team when needed with occasional nightshift cover. Weekend working forms part of this role with paid overtime available.

Responsibilities
Liaise with customer on-site team and management.
Carry out work promptly and safely.
Comply with company health, safety and environmental standards.
Ensure that all incidents and near misses are reported.
Inspect equipment prior and after use to ensure it is in good working order.

Qualifications
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Required
IRATA Level 1 or Level 2.
Must already hold, or be willing to undergo the Security Clearance, (SC), process.
CSCS Card or NPORS card would be a bonus but not essential.

Desired
First Aid certificate.
Confined space.
IPAF.
PASMA.
Full clean driving licence.

On-the-job training will be provided.

Salary: Level 1 £12.50 - £14.00 per hour DOE
Level 2 £14.00 - £16.00 per hour DOE
Overtime: Weekday overtime after normal working hours paid at double time.
Saturday, time and a half for the first 8 hours then double time for additional hours.
Sunday, double time all day.
All night shifts are paid at double time.
Holidays: 28 days per annum.
