Royal Mail Delivery Driver / Postal Worker – Shirley

About the Role:

As a Delivery Driver / Postal Worker, you’ll start your day at the local delivery office, spending about an hour sorting mail for your route.
You’ll then head out in your Royal Mail van to deliver parcels and letters in the most efficient order, using a hand-held computer that guides your route and captures customer signatures.

This role is a mix of van driving and on-foot deliveries, and you’ll rotate between these duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort mail for your designated route.
Deliver letters and parcels safely and efficiently.
Use a hand-held device for navigation and signature capture.
Work both as a driver and on foot, depending on the daily requirement.

Requirements:

A full UK manual driving licence (held at your current UK address).
No more than six penalty points on your licence (clean licence preferred).
Excellent customer service skills and reliability.
Delivery driving experience is preferred.

Location: Shirley
Pay Rate: £13.37 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Sunday (rotational)
