RTR Finance Lead

Job Title: RTR Divisional Finance Lead
Location: Manchester MediaCity (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Bonus: Up to 10% (5% on target)
Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours/week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RTR Divisional Finance Lead to join a leading organisation based in Manchester MediaCity. This hybrid role offers the chance to work with a dynamic finance team focused on accurate financial reporting, automation, and continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll be the main point of contact for divisional finance teams, Centre of Excellence, group finance, tax, and treasury. You'll ensure all financial transactions are accurately reported in the general ledger while supporting month-end/year-end close and audit activities.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of divisional financial transactions within the Fusion general ledger.

• Lead month-end and year-end close, reviewing P&L and balance sheet with a divisional focus.

• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audit reviews.

• Perform complex reconciliations and postings, driving process improvements and automation.

• Investigate unexplained variances and support divisional Finance Controllers.

• Mentor and train team members, contributing to finance transformation initiatives.

• Maintain process documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

• Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant RTR experience or an experienced QBE.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience in finance transformation or Agile working methodologies.
