The Record to Report (RTR) function sits at the heart of Finance Operations, responsible for maintaining accounting integrity, managing balance sheet reconciliations, and delivering period-end closes across ITV. The RTR Reconciliations team focuses on core accounting governance, digital automation, and variance resolution. Operating in a collaborative and forward-thinking shared services environment, our team leverages automated tools to guarantee precise financial reporting while driving continuous process refinement and team growth.

The role..

We’re looking for an RTR Manager – Reconciliations to join our team on an 18-month fixed-term contract basis. Reporting directly to the Head of RTR, you will direct and oversee a team of 6 direct reports (RTR Accountants and Assistant Accountants).

In this key managerial position, you will oversee the execution of core accounting processes, maintain robust balance sheet governance, and promote widespread adoption of Oracle Cloud EPM Account Reconciliation (ARCS). You will foster an environment centered on continuous improvement, digital innovation, and operational efficiency while guiding and supporting your team's professional development.

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Directing the RTR Reconciliations team to deliver precise, thorough, and prompt balance sheet reconciliations while actively investigating and resolving outstanding items.
• Driving adoption and operational alignment of Oracle Cloud EPM Account Reconciliation (ARCS) in line with company policies and guidelines.
• Promoting a culture of digital adoption, process refinement, standardisation, and automation to maximise operational efficiency.
• Leading audit support by partnering with external auditors to supply necessary documentation, context, and reconciliations.
• Collaborating across RTR leadership and broader Finance Operations teams to resolve errors and maintain a unified management environment.
• Line managing a team of 6, conducting regular 1-2-1s, setting performance goals, and supporting career progression aligned with Finance Operations strategy.
• Proactively expanding expertise in Oracle ARCS capabilities and core financial workflows to implement workflow improvements.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

• Qualified Accountant (ICAEW / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Previous experience managing an RTR team using automated reconciliation software (preferably Oracle Fusion / ARCS).
• Demonstrated ability to review existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement sustainable change.
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills under tight deadlines.
• Passionate about digital transformation, process automation, and systems-led solutions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and foster a collaborative, non-blame culture.

• Experience working within an RTR team through a digital transformation, including creating standard process notes and recruiting team members.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and innovative problem-solving approaches.

Potential Challenges

• Requires flexibility in working hours during critical business windows, such as month-end and year-end closes.
• Supporting across other RTR pillars during periods of absence or when additional management support is needed.
