Runner with TV or Film work experience wanted - North London

Job Description

Our client is a well-known actor and writer, and he is wanting a proactive, super helpful and switched on junior assistant to help him day to day. He works from a home office and there are often producers and other writers coming and going. Duties will include everything from grabbing him coffee/lunch and emptying the dishwasher, to taking the dog on a walk, to ensuring he has all the materials and info for meetings throughout the day and is on track with his schedule.
This role will be hugely varied, and it needs someone who is prepared to muck in and roll up their sleeves and help make the principal’s life run as smoothly as possible. A calm, confident and resourceful nature is key, and if there are issues with tech or the printer for instance it will need someone who can be solution orientated and try and fix it. The more initiative the individual shows the more responsibilities they are likely to be given.
You will be working very closely with his EA who is based in different offices but will come to the office/house from time to time. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience supporting a high-profile individual and forge a career in the film world. The right candidate will have a minimum of 6 months + experience working in TV or film and live in North London.
This role is office based 5 days per week and will require someone who can be flexible out of hours if needs be.
