Description

• Assist in the management of a caseload of rural property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, easements, and tenancies.

• Conduct title checks, draft reports on title, and liaise with the Land Registry.

• Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, transfers, licences, and deeds.

• Carry out searches (local authority, environmental, drainage, etc.) and interpret results.

• Manage client communications, including updates and requests for documentation.

• Liaise with external parties such as agents, surveyors, local authorities, and financial institutions.

• Support the solicitor in due diligence processes, particularly on complex rural and agricultural holdings.

• Maintain and update case management systems and client records.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and professional standards.

Profile

• Solid understanding of land law and property transaction processes.

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
