The successful candidate will primarily be working within the Rural Asset Management team, providing administrative support through our dynamic suite of services, including farm and estate management, energy and renewables, sales, valuation and a variety of rural projects.
On occasion, you will also give administrative support to the Rural sales team, assisting with reporting and client correspondence.The preferred candidate will have proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within the property, rural or agricultural sectors.
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable working under their own initiative and be able to prioritize their workload to tight deadlines.
Able to follow agreed processes accurately but also suggest ways to refine and improve processes.
Excellent use of Word, Excel, MS Teams and Adobe Pro.
Accompany the Associate Director on land and property valuations appointments to provide administrative support and assist with onsite documentation.
Support with the preparation of property listings, heads of terms, lease and license agreements and client correspondence.
Support with drafting, reviewing and renewing tenancy and grazing agreements, coordinating communications between Rettie and landowners.
Support with the preparation and management of compensation claims for landowners on utility works, managing work orders and contractor invoices
Draft, format and issue documentation including professional reports, valuations and pitches ensuring a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain and update client and property database, ensuring accuracy and close attention to detail.
Lead efforts to streamline and modernise templates, forms and document workflows while maintaining up to date and accurate records in line with regulatory requirements.
Manage shared mailboxes and compose written replies on behalf of the Associate director, taking follow up action where appropriate.
Receive telephone call on behalf of the team, responding to enquires where possible.

Driving License
Fully IT literate & proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Pro
Strong written & verbal communication/numeracy/data analysis skills
