About the role:

As a Warehouse Operative you do not need any experience as full training will be provided but previous manufacturing, warehouse or distribution experience would be advantageous. We want to help you grow and develop your expertise. You will learn from and work with experts from a world class drink’s manufacturer. We want this to be the start of a long Refresco career for you.At Nelson we are a 24/7 factory. As a Warehouse Operative you will work on a continental shift basis. If successful following a temporary appointment through our agency provision, you will then have 3 x your annual base salary life assurance, a good company pension scheme, a sports and social fund. There is free on-site car parking.

What are your daily tasks as a Warehouse Operative?Receive, put away, pick and despatch pallets of raw materials or finished goods from our warehouses.Process raw materials or finished goods using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management System (WMS).Use Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Very Narrow Aisle trucks, counterbalance, reach trucks, ride-on or Pedestrian Operated trucks.Undertake regular stock checks.Oversee returns.Work to minimise waste and promote recycling.Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed.Work as part of a team to ensure the site is audit-ready at all times.Contribute to meeting team and company-wide targets.
