Location: Stafford | Department: Sales | Full Time
Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum + bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Account Manager to join a well-established and growing business that supplies high-quality packaging and consumables to the healthcare sector. This is a relationship-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys building client trust, spotting commercial opportunities, and playing a key role in long-term account growth and retention.

The successful candidate will join a friendly, collaborative Sales Team and take ownership of a portfolio of existing clients. If you're confident on the phone, passionate about delivering excellent customer service, and looking for a role with strong career potential — this could be the perfect fit.

About the Role

As Sales Account Manager, you'll be the go-to contact for a range of long-standing customers. Your goal will be to ensure every client receives outstanding support while also identifying ways to add value and drive additional revenue through upselling and cross-selling. You'll handle inbound enquiries, conduct outbound check-ins, and make sure every account is managed with care, efficiency, and professionalism.

  • Experience in a customer-facing, sales, or account management role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence in managing a varied portfolio of clients

  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset with a positive attitude
  • An interest in healthcare, pharmacy, or medical supply sectors (preferred but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with a portfolio of existing clients
  • Handle enquiries with a solutions-oriented and professional approach
  • Understand client needs and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities
  • Monitor buying patterns to encourage growth and retention
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently to maintain satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions via CRM
