Sales Account Manager

Reed Business Support is proud to be working in partnership with our Sittingbourne-based client, a leading UK distributor of sign-making materials and equipment, to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Sales Account Manager to join their growing sales team.

As an Internal Account Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the business’s customer engagement strategy. You’ll manage inbound enquiries while proactively reaching out to existing and lapsed customers to drive sales and build lasting relationships. • Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
• Proactively engage with existing and lapsed customers to promote products and offers
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across a diverse product range
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM system
• Collaborate with internal teams including logistics and purchasing to ensure smooth order fulfilment
• Support field sales representatives with account strategies and handovers
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs

• Experience in a sales or account management role (B2B preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident, persuasive, and customer-focused approach
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• A team player with a problem-solving mindset
• Industry experience in signage, print, or wholesale distribution is advantageous but not essential

• Competitive base salary of £30,000 + monthly performance bonuses (OTE £32,000+)
