Job Description - Sales Administrator

Sales Administrator
Office-based | Monday-Friday | £23,000 per annum - Permanent
Location: Newton Abbot - Heathfield
Working Hours: Mon-Thu 09:00-17:00, Fri 09:00-16:00 (34 hours/week)
Salary: £23,000
Benefits: Free onsite parking - 33days holiday - Family run business - progression with business.

Acorn by Synergie is proudly hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced and highly organised Sales Administrator to join their fantastic team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive attitude to thrive in a busy office environment. This is perfect for someone that wants to learn more as there is opportunity to learn more skills in different areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for a small group of secondary suppliers.
  • Raise quotes, sales orders, and supplier purchase orders.
  • Communicate goods readiness and coordinate collection from suppliers.
  • Take and process parts orders from customers and dealers.
  • Handle incoming calls and assist with customer queries.
  • Help manage stock levels and report shortages.
  • Monitor sales margins and update related spreadsheets.
  • Agree on and monitor payment terms, including taking card payments.
  • Perform general admin duties such as filing, scanning, and in-house sales cover.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
