Job Description - Sales Administrator

Aylesbury - Rabans Lane Industrial Area
Permanent – Full Time

£31,500 per annum

Our client, a well-established and successful manufacturer of high-quality components, is seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to join their friendly and professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the continued success and growth of the business, providing key support to the Sales Team and exceptional service to B2B customers.

Key responsibilities as a Sales Administrator will include but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring the sales inbox and accurately inputting customer orders using the ERP system.
  • Answering and handling incoming telephone calls in a professional manner.
  • Raising quotes and processing purchase orders to create sales orders.
  • Generating customer invoices and resolving any invoice-related queries.
  • Responding to customer queries via phone and email, offering solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Providing stock availability information using ERP and internal systems.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
  • Keeping customers informed about their orders and communicating any issues proactively.
  • Supporting the Sales Team with quotations (up to £5,000 in value).
  • Learning and understanding stock management procedures.
  • Monitoring stock levels and overseeing stock control.
  • Placing stock orders with the Head Office in Germany and liaise with them on lead times and updates.
  • Carrying out general administrative support as required.

To be a successful Sales Administrator you must be:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong communicator, both verbal and written.
  • A quick learner with the desire to gain product and technical knowledge.
  • Comfortable working in a small, close-knit team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
  • Experienced with ERP systems, stock control, and CRM platforms.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experienced in providing excellent service to B2B customers.
