Job Description - Sales Administrator

Our client is looking for an experienced and commercially aware Administrator for a Quotation & Customer Account Executive role to join their dynamic and fast-paced sales support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual to take ownership of the customer quotation process while supporting wider sales operations in a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver accurate and timely customer quotations, ensuring completeness of all required information
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing on special order items
  • Review incoming quote requests, validating details and ensuring all necessary information is provided
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and various media platforms
  • Collaborate with the External Sales team to manage quotation workflows and timelines
  • Provide clear, up-to-date pricing and product information
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, handling inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Analyse customer data and support calculation of sales spreadsheets for quotations
  • Monitor and report on SLA and KPI performance metrics
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives related to quoting and customer experience
  • Support the broader sales team with order processing and absence cover
  • Maintain and update customer sales pricing as needed
  • Attend team meetings to review departmental KPIs and performance
  • Remain commercially aware of market trends, competitors, and customer needs
  • Represent the IWS group companies in the market as required

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Significant experience in customer account management, ideally within a B2B setting
  • Strong experience in quoting or customer service roles
  • Technologically astute with experience using CRM and ERP systems
  • Excellent numerical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and influence results
  • Knowledge of the industry or reseller/dealer channel model is advantageous
  • Ability to identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
