Job Description - Sales Administrator

Type: Temporary to permanent guaranteed

Pay: £25-27k per annum

Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:00, Fri 08:30-16:30

Location: Chippenham, SN15- Need to drive due to location

Office based roles- free parking

Interview date: W/C 30th June

Proposed start date: Ideally Mon 7th July- will wait for right person

28 days AL incl BH/ 5 Wellbeing Days (once probation passed) – when on a perm basis

Required:

Experience in office-based customer service or administrative roles. This position does not involve cold calling but you need to be confident and no afraid of phone work. Responsibilities include entering sales quotations and orders. Candidates must possess an excellent telephone manner and the ability to engage professionally with others. Applicants should be self-motivated, capable of managing their workload, and confident in seeking information proactively. Strong common sense and logical reasoning are essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Generate accurate and timely quotes to maintain profitability, ensuring CEO approval for exceptional cases.
  • Process sales orders efficiently, keeping Openda updated to avoid delays or errors.
  • Maintain friendly, professional, and accurate communication with clients via telephone and email.
  • Support team members to enhance customer satisfaction and share workload effectively.
  • Perform administrative tasks for tenders and bids, ensuring accurate and timely contributions.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction in all interactions, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate with various teams to meet deadlines and prevent miscommunication issues.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to manage customer expectations and resolve stock issues proactively.
  • Assist the Business Development Executive in meeting sales targets and actively contribute to securing orders.
  • Ensure all invoicing is accurate and issued promptly.
  • Develop a personal approach to customer account management that leverages product knowledge to foster further sales opportunities.
