Job Description - Sales Administrator

Overview
My client, a global manufacturing business are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join their internal sale team. The role will be working closely with external sales managers and performing commercial and administrative processing of orders, prepare accurate and comprehensive quotes on all company product lines, and assist in the successful development of regional sales.

Responsibilities

  • As part of the UK Sales team, you will focus on quoting, placing, and managing internal orders.
  • To become conversant and competent with IT platforms including the CRM and ERP systems.
  • You will be responsible for the timely quoting, placing, and defining of purchase orders and monitor their progress through from receipt of customer order to delivery into the UK.
  • Build quotes from the in-house configurator software package.
  • Assist in the development of the customer portfolio together with the Area Sales Managers and Technical Sales Team.
  • Ensure regular follow-up as required with the customers.
  • Assist in all areas of spare parts sales from promoting the product line to assisting with identification with the customer.
  • Maintain system folder set up and allocation/tracking of all orders.

Skills

  • Proficient in sales administration with a strong understanding of sales processes.
  • A motivated individual with excellent time management and able to communicate with staff at all levels.
  • Having excellent IT skills with focus on Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous experience within an manufacturing company.
