Sales Administrator / Coordinator

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: £27,000 to £35,000
Job Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full-time, office based

FC Engineering Recruitment is working with an established business in Watford who are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator / Coordinator to join their team.

This is a varied role supporting the sales function and helping to ensure customers, orders and internal processes are managed efficiently.

The successful candidate will be organised, customer-focused and comfortable working in a busy environment where attention to detail is important.

As a Sales Administrator / Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

* Providing administrative support to the sales team

* Processing and managing customer orders

* Preparing quotations and sales documentation

* Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email

* Liaising with customers regarding orders, deliveries and requirements

* Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records

* Coordinating with internal departments to ensure orders are progressed effectively

* Monitoring order progress and keeping customers updated

* Assisting with invoicing and other sales administration

* Maintaining customer information and documentation

* Supporting the sales team with general administrative tasks

* Helping to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained

You will ideally have:

* Previous experience in sales administration, sales coordination, customer service or a similar administrative role

* Strong organisational and time-management skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Good attention to detail

* Confidence communicating with customers and internal teams

* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

* Experience using CRM or business management systems would be advantageous

* The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

* A proactive and professional approach
