Sales Administrator

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator to join an established manufacturing business in West Cumbria.

This is a varied sales administration role supporting a busy sales team and ensuring customer orders, quotations and enquiries are managed accurately and efficiently.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, confident and switched-on, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The role

Providing day-to-day administrative support to the sales team, including processing orders, reorders and quotations

Handling customer enquiries by phone and email, including providing updates on order progress

*

Maintaining accurate customer and sales records and ensuring information is kept up to date

*

Liaising with internal teams to ensure customer orders and requirements are followed through

*

Supporting the wider sales team with general administration and coordination

About you

We’re open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, although experience within manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment would be beneficial.

You may currently be working in Sales Administration, Sales Support, Internal Sales, Customer Service Administration or Order Processing.

Most importantly, you'll be confident, organised and proactive, with a good eye for detail and the ability to pick things up quickly. You'll be comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues and taking ownership of your workload.
