Sales Administrator – Manufacturing

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing business.

This is a varied position supporting the sales and wider commercial team, helping to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from initial enquiry through to delivery.

Sales Admin Key Responsibilities

Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently

*

Preparing quotations and responding to customer enquiries

*

Liaising with customers regarding orders, lead times and deliveries

*

Working closely with production, purchasing and logistics teams

*

Updating customer records and order information on ERP/CRM systems

*

Raising invoices and supporting general sales administration

*

Monitoring outstanding orders and keeping customers updated

*

Handling telephone and email enquiries

*

Supporting the sales team with reports, documentation and general administration

*

Resolving order or delivery queries where required

About You

We are looking for someone who has previous experience within a Sales Administration, Sales Support, Order Processing or Customer Service position.

Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment would be highly beneficial.

You will ideally have:

Previous sales administration or order processing experience

*

Experience working with ERP/MRP or CRM systems

*

Strong attention to detail

*

Excellent communication and customer service skills

*

Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook

*

The ability to manage multiple orders and priorities

*

A proactive and organised approach to your work
