Job Description - Sales Advisor

Customer Service
Full Time, 9am–5pm (includes alternate Saturdays with a weekday off in lieu)
£25,000 per annum
Bury St Edmunds
Permanent

On behalf of our client based in Bury St Edmunds, we are looking for a confident and approachable individual to support the day to day running of the business during an exciting phase of expansion. This is a varied role combining customer service, operational coordination, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Previous experience in administration, scheduling, or client service would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responding to client enquiries and assisting with general support
  • Managing and dispatching orders in a timely, accurate manner
  • Supporting the team with social media content planning
  • To be able to provide exceptional customer service
  • Coordinating engineer appointments and ensuring necessary materials are arranged
  • Handling payments and managing the customer database
  • Sales and aftersales of all products
  • Identifying and reducing inefficiencies in operational processes
  • Supporting with general upkeep and presentation of the workspace
  • Maintaining company standards and supporting brand image
  • Assisting with business planning activities and KPIs alongside the Office Manager
  • Holding keyholder responsibilities
Key Skills
  • Strong customer service or administrative experience
  • Ability to multitask and stay organised under pressure
  • Confident use of IT systems and tools
  • Ability to work independently and within a small team
  • Knowledge of the local area beneficial
