We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading confectionery brand — a fun, vibrant, and eye-catching business with a standout product range that’s loved by customers across the UK and internationally. With consistent 15–20% year-on-year growth, a turnover of £12 million, and expansion plans into the US and Middle East, this is a brand with huge potential in a multi-billion-pound global market.

About the Role – Sales & Customer Development Manager

This is a newly created opportunity due to growth. You’ll manage existing customer accounts and develop new business across the UK and international markets. You’ll work closely with the CEO and marketing team to launch new products, attend trade shows, and drive revenue. This role reports directly to the CEO, offering real visibility and influence at the heart of the business.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales & Customer Development Manager, you will:

  • - Manage inbound sales and account queries (UK & international)
  • - Proactively generate new leads and open accounts
  • - Maintain CRM
  • - Launch new products and grow volumes
  • - Attend UK and international trade shows (e.g., Germany)
  • - Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure customer satisfaction
  • - Handle customer service and LinkedIn outreach
Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a Sales & Customer Development Manager who is:

  • A confident communicator and relationship builder
  • Experienced in B2B sales, ideally in FMCG, food, or confectionery
  • Skilled in lead generation and account management
  • Detail-oriented, KPI-driven, and commercially astute
  • Familiar with CRM systems ( HubSpot, SalesForce Etc.)
