Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: £32,000- £38,000 (depending on experience)

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business in South Yorkshire that’s looking to add a Sales & Estimating Engineer to its team.

The Role:
In this position, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate quotes for customers by reviewing technical drawings and generating cost estimates. You’ll also create routing and material information to support production planning. Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate with suppliers, input data into internal systems, and help manage customer enquiries from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret customer drawings to produce quotations
• Generate cost estimates and create routing details
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams
• Enter data into business systems to support quoting and planning
• Respond to and manage customer enquiries

What We’re Looking For:

• +5 years of experience working in a similar role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Must be able to read technical drawings and produce accurate quotes.
• Experience with CRM or CAD software
• A flexible and proactive approach to work
