Job Description - Sales and Marketing Administrator

Sales and Marketing Administrator

Location: Armthorpe, Doncaster

Salary: £27,500 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm (4.30pm Finish on Fridays)

Our client is a world leader in manufacturing machinery for handling root crops.

The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven person to join their sales team as a Sales and Marketing Admin.

Being a member of the Sales Team, you will help us to build upon their strong foundations to maintain and progress their enviable position in the worldwide market.

This role will be key to the sales operation and focused on supporting the admin function for the team and developing marketing activities.

Although the position will be predominantly based in their office in Armthorpe, Doncaster, you may be required to visit customers sites and attend trade shows if required.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, and results oriented and possess the drive and determination to succeed in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:

Sales

  • Supporting the Sales Team with administrative tasks as required.
  • Generating quotes on excel for the sales team.
  • Creating order acknowledgements and processing orders.
  • Answering incoming calls to the sales department.

Marketing

  • Assisting in the creation of marketing material.
  • Using Mailchimp to create and send out marketing emails.
  • Providing content for B2B and internal newsletters.
  • Assisting in the organisation of exhibitions and internal events.
  • Liaising with their social media company to provide content for social media.
  • Assisting in updating and maintaining the company website.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flawless written English.
  • A great eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Good time management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or a recent graduate with a relevant degree.
