Initially there are several tasks that someone joining the team could start to define and deliver, including:

Promoting our success stories
Prospecting and generating interest in potential customers and markets
Assisting in the preparation of sales materials
Assisting in bid writing and/or bid preparation
After sufficient time, having the ability to demonstrate the platform to potential customers
Supporting our customer forum events.
