Job DescriptionThe Sales Associate is the face of Leica and delivers the Leica brand experience to prospective and existing Leica customers. They have a passion for selling and provide exceptional levels of customer service. They have the exceptional product knowledge and can build lasting customer relationships that result in repeat business and increased revenue. Leica Sales Associates live and breathe our brand values and create a customer experience that is warm, engaging, and tailored to the individual.This Sales Associate role will be based in our Mayfair Duke Street Flagship store.Key AccountabilitiesSupporting the team in reaching monthly retail targets and KPIs by providing excellent customer serviceUnderstand and properly execute systems and POS procedures, and respond to and follow up on customer calls, messages and emails on a daily basisDevelop and maintain a list of customers and CRM database and provide customers with an exceptional and bespoke level of service including one-on-one customer sessions on Leica productsProvide a one-to-one personalised service and aftercare service to customers e.g. by notifying them of new products, relevant photography exhibitions and Akademie coursesAssist with the presentation of products and displays according to visual merchandising guidelines and maintain exceptional standards of housekeepingSupport the team with stock management, including stock takes and reorderingProperly execute all stock movements on SAPFollow security procedures in storeAct as a brand ambassador at all times, contribute to and represent Leica at eventsSeek to continuously develop knowledge and skills in sales, service, systems and processKey Skills Retail and sales experience are essentialGood communication and organisation skillExcellent written and phone skillsTeam playerKnowledge of using SAP is advantageous but not essentialKnowledge of photographyBenefitsCompetitive salary and opportunity to earn sales-based commissionPrivate Medical InsuranceGenerous staff discount25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and an extra day off at Christmas2 days Volunteering Day per yearCycle to Work SchemePensionAccess to Employee Assistance ProgrammeSocials including Summer and Christmas PartiesTraining & DevelopmentEqual Opportunities EmployerLeica is committed to and promotes the principle of equal opportunities in employment.
