Job Description - Sales Business Development Executive

Are you a confident communicator with a talent for building lasting relationships and spotting new business opportunities? We’re delighted to be working exclusively with a leading marketing agency based in Greater Manchester as they look to recruit a Sales & Business Development Executive to drive their continued growth.

This creative and data-led agency partners with an impressive portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. They’re now on the lookout for a motivated and commercially-minded sales professional to help expand their client base, open doors to new opportunities, and support the wider commercial strategy.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a passion for marketing and a flair for consultative selling. The ideal candidate will be proactive, persuasive, and keen to work in a collaborative environment where their efforts are truly rewarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across a wide range of industries
  • Develop a deep understanding of the agency’s services to deliver tailored sales pitches
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from lead to client onboarding
  • Attend networking events and industry exhibitions to promote the agency's offering
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and report regularly on sales performance and forecasts

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management (agency background ideal)
  • Confident in identifying, approaching, and converting prospects into clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Target-driven and self-motivated with a positive, go-getter attitude
  • A solid understanding of marketing and digital services is desirable
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams
