Job Description - Sales Consultant

Sales Consultant

Location: Wivelsfield (Horsham Area)
Salary: £28,000 + £18,000 Commission + £2,000 Bonus (OTE £48,000)
Contract: Full-time, Wednesday-Sunday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

About the opportunity

A growing housebuilder is seeking a Sales Consultant to join their expanding team at their Wivelsfield development. This established company has built a reputation for acquiring only consented schemes, ensuring a steady pipeline of quality developments.

You'll be part of a close-knit team of two consultants per site, working in a supportive environment where your success directly impacts your earnings. The company's strategic focus on consented developments provides stability and growth opportunities, with plans to expand to additional sites around Horsham within 12 months.

Key responsibilities
  • Engage with potential homebuyers and convert enquiries into sales
  • Conduct site tours and present properties to prospective clients
  • Build relationships with customers throughout the sales process
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth handovers
  • Participate in marketing events and promotional activities
Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles such as estate agency, car sales, or cabin crew
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated learner with ambition to grow within the company
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Flexibility to work Wednesday through Sunday schedule
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
