Sales Consultant

Title: Sales Consultant (18 month contract)
Location: Newmarket
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Monday – Friday 9:00-5:30pm (fully office based)

We are recruiting for a Sales Consultant to join a Worldwide travel team on a temporary basis. This is a fully office-based role, working across a range of travel products including cruises, package holidays, escorted tours and tailor-made itineraries.

You will play a key role in delivering a high standard of service, managing client travel requirements efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handling incoming enquiries and recommending suitable travel arrangements based on client preferences and budget

* Booking a variety of travel products including cruises, tours and bespoke itineraries

* Collecting balance payments and responding to general travel-related queries

* Liaising with internal departments, including Accounts, to resolve queries

* Supporting the Department Supervisor with administrative tasks and projects

Ideal Candidate:

* A genuine interest in travel, with personal travel experience or a passion for the industry

* Confident communicator with a professional and courteous approach

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries

* Have a positive, proactive and can-do approach
