We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Coordinator to join our client’s team here in Newmarket, and support the continued growth of the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with commercial sales experience who enjoys building strong customer relationships, managing sales administration, and delivering outstanding service. You will play an important role in supporting customers and the wider sales team, ensuring enquiries and orders are handled efficiently and professionally.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing orders, supporting account management activities, and ensuring customers receive an exceptional level of service.
You will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Purchasing, Accounts, and Logistics to ensure customer requirements are met while helping to improve efficiency and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage customer enquiries, orders, and quotations accurately and efficiently
* Provide excellent customer service via telephone and email
* Support key customer accounts and maintain strong relationships
* Process sales administration, CRM updates, and website orders
* Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to meet customer requirements
* Support bespoke product enquiries and purchasing requirements
* Manage customer returns and resolve issues promptly
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual who enjoys working with customers and being part of a busy sales environment.
You will have:
* Previous experience in an internal sales, sales administration, customer service, or account management role within a commercial environment
* Experience working in a buy/sell environment is desirable
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support the wider team
* Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
* A self-motivated approach and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
