Job Description - Sales Developer

A marketing business within the Bournemouth area is seeking a Sales Developer to join their bustling team.

Your Role:
While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
  • Proactively making outbound calls to prospective clients
  • Utilising the provided materials and briefs by the company during sales calls
  • Building a strong relationship and rapport with potential customers, ensuring that their needs are correctly identified, through expert questioning
  • Promoting client products and services to attain interest and then subsequently qualifying potential leads
  • Maintaining accurate records of potential customer interactions and any details surrounding leads on the CRM system
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure that leads are transitioned through the business to the relevant department
  • Keeping accurate and updated knowledge of client products and services, as well as industry trends in order to support outreach
  • Curating and presenting detailed and accurate reporting on activity and results to the campaign manager

You MUST Have:
Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Strong proven experience and success within a telemarketing or similar sales/customer service role
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with proactive outreach and the ability to articulate and sell products/service features
  • Strong negotiation skills, particularly around objection-handling
  • Good IT knowledge, specifically with CRM systems and Microsoft Office including Excel

Your Opportunity:

This is a commercially driven marketing business, with a passion for supporting their customers' growth through a number of specialised services including marketing project management, sales development and data insights. The role will joining their busy telemarketing team, whereupon the position holder will be proactively developing a sales pipeline and tackling outreach to potential customers on behalf of clients to sell products and services.

This company are offering a starting salary up to around £27,000 which will also accompany a peripheral package that will include a good holiday allocation and pension, as well as onsite facilities, health and leisure options and additional rewards. For the position holder, excellent opportunities for development and progression will be on offer too, with a strong training regimen in place from day one.
