Sales Development Representative - £30-32k - Full-time - Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office - Surrey
We are working with a successful, established business that currently operates two complimentary SaaS solutions in the background of the screening and identity management industry. They have a strong commitment to excellence and cutting-edge technology, both of which make them a market leader within the industry. They are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join their brilliant team, to help drive continued growth within the business.
About the job: In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads, building relationships with potential customers, and nurturing them through the sales funnel. You will be a critical part of driving new business growth.
Main Duties & Responsibilities • Identifying and researching potential customers within your assigned territory • Building target data lists and utilising various prospecting techniques including cold calling, email outreach, social media engagement, attending events and more. • Assessing the needs and challenges of potential customers to determine their fit for the company’s products/services • Asking insightful questions, actively listening, and gathering relevant information to determine their buying intent and budget • Engaging potential customers and booking appointments for sales representatives • Building trust and rapport with qualified leads – providing them with valuable information, addressing their concerns and offering personalised solutions • Maintaining accurate records/updating the CRM system with all relevant information • Consistently meeting and exceeding individual and team goals for lead generation and qualification • Keeping up with industry trends, competitor analysis and company updates to effectively communicate with prospects • Working closely with account executives to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and provide on going support throughout the sales cycle
You • Minimum of 1 years’ sales experience (SDR, BDR, or related role is preferred) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to build professional relationships quickly • Proven ability to prospect effectively and generate qualified leads • Proven experience in BRB SaaS sales • Strong understanding of SaaS technology and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Time management and organisational skills • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team • Motivated and results-oriented • Strong work ethic • Proficiency in sales and CRM software (Hubspot, Sales Navigator) • Ambitious and looking to learn, grow and give/receive feedback
On Offer • Annual salary up to £32,000 dependent on experience • Commission based on performance not closed deals - £8-12k • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off • 3% employer contribution to your pension • Flexible benefits • 3 days per week office-based, 2 days per week working from home • Indefinite right to work in the UK
