Job Description - Sales Development Representative

Job Title: Sales Development Representative
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary:

Up to £40,000 per annum + Commission (£55k OTE)

Our client is a leading innovator in the field of HPC and next-generation technology for data centers. Their mission is to revolutionize the data center industry with energy-efficient, eco-friendly solutions.

Our client is seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their dynamic sales team. The SDR will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. This role is crucial for driving the growth of our sales pipeline and expanding our customer base.

What you will do:
Prospect Identification:

Research and identify potential customers through various channels, including social media, industry events, and online resources.
Lead Qualification:

Engage with inbound leads and qualify them based on their needs, budget, and timeline.
Outreach:

Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to generate interest in our client’s solutions.
Appointment Setting:

Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads.
CRM Management:

Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in the CRM system.
Market Feedback:

Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams on market trends and customer needs.
Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and improve lead generation processes.

What we are looking for:
Prior experience in sales within the technology or data center industry (Essential).
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with potential customers and team members.
Familiarity with CRM software, Sales Force and Microsoft Office Suite.
A self-starter attitude with a results-driven approach and a passion for sustainable technology.
Strong ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
A collaborative mindset to work closely with sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment and achieving shared goals.
An understanding of market trends and customer needs to provide valuable feedback to internal teams.
