An ambitious Sales Director is required for an engineering company based in the Worksop area. This role will quickly develop into a Managing Director role for the company. The company design and manufacture Material Handling Systems along with full service and repair solutions.

Within this demanding role you will initially be responsible for reviewing and adding structure to the current sales structure. This will be a hands-on sales role driving new and existing business in the UK and Internationally whilst also leading the activities of the sales team. Due to the hands-on nature of the role, there will be regular travel. When not travelling to clients you will be expected to have a presence within the office.

Once established into the Sales role the position will quickly develop into a Managing Director position. You will take responsibility for the UK Operation, with full P&L responsibility, regularly reporting into the Head Office based in Europe.

Candidates will have strong Senior Sales Management experience gained within an engineering environment. This experience will ideally have been gained within Material Handling Solutions or similar mechanical engineering environment. You will have experience in leading and driving a sales team whilst also developing your own business opportunities.

The successful candidate must have the desire to develop their career to Managing Director level. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sales professional who is looking for the next step in their career
