Sales Engineer Needed in Manchester

• Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 44 hours per week
• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 DOE

Our client, a highly respected and long-established bodybuilder manufacturer, is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to join their growing team at their Manchester-based facility. With many years in the industry, they’re renowned for quality, employee development, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer:

• Create and manage sales quotes for customers and internal sales teams
• Liaise with suppliers for up-to-date costings and maintain quote accuracy
• Generate order acknowledgements and track quote conversions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure specifications are clear
• Maintain accurate build documentation and parts lists
• Act as a point of contact for customer queries on technical specifications
• Contribute to continuous improvement and departmental efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Sales Engineer within a manufacturing or automotive environment
• Ability to interpret and translate sales orders into factory-ready formats
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quoting/documentation systems
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Excellent time management and resilience under pressure
