Field-based covering the M1 Corridor, with travel throughout the UK as required.

We're partnering with a leading provider of respiratory diagnostic and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) systems to recruit a Sales Engineer supporting customers across the NHS and private healthcare sector.

As the business continues to grow, this is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded technical team covering the M1 Corridor, with travel throughout the UK.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a sales engineers role.

You'll become the trusted sales and technical expert responsible for ensuring critical respiratory diagnostic systems remain operational and performing at their best. From basic sales, installing new equipment to preventative maintenance and complex fault finding, you'll play an important role in supporting clinicians and improving patient care.

You'll manage your own territory with the backing of an experienced and collaborative technical team.

What You'll Be Doing

* Basic Introductions and sales to Hospitals

* Installing and commissioning advanced respiratory diagnostic systems

* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

* Diagnosing, repairing and calibrating complex electro-mechanical equipment

* Supporting NHS and private healthcare customers

* Maintaining accurate electronic service records in line with quality and ISO standards

* Providing responsive technical support and outstanding customer service

* Managing your own diary and territory effectively

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from sales engineers who combine strong technical ability with excellent customer service skills.

You'll ideally have:

* 1–4+ years' field service experience combined with sales experience

* Strong electro-mechanical fault-finding skills

* Good IT, PC and networking knowledge

* Exposure to SQL Server or database systems would be advantageous

* HNC, HND or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline (or equivalent engineering experience)

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* A full UK driving licence

Experience within Respiratory Diagnostics, Pulmonary Function Testing, Sports Science, Biomedical Engineering or Clinical Diagnostics would be highly advantageous. However, applications are welcomed from engineers with transferable experience from other equipment sectors.
