Keighley, West Yorkshire Adept Resourcing Group is excited to be partnering with a world leading specialist engineering and manufacturing business in their search for an ambitious and results-driven Sales Engineer to join their West Yorkshire based team. Were looking for someone with a distinct passion for selling precision engineered products of the highest quality into UK markets. In this role the Sales Engineer will be responsible for assisting and developing existing customers as well as taking initiative to search for new leads and acquire new customers. The right Sales Engineer will be dynamic, driven, energetic and be able to demonstrate a clear passion for sales. An aptitude and desire to learn and outgoing personality is crucial to the role. Working as part of an energetic and tight-knit team, the right Sales Engineer can expect to be measured on their ability to attract new customers, drive new revenue growth and ensure customer retention whilst supporting the overall success of the UK sales team. Salary and Benefits: £30,000 - £40,000 Yearly performance-based bonus Pension Healthsheild 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays and Christmas Sales Engineer Responsibilities: Identification of potential new market sectors and customers Contacting new customers to identify their needs and to introduce them to brand Support the General Manager and the internal and external sales teams in the pursuit of additional sales from current and potential customers Manage incoming calls and emails from customers Successfully match customer requirements to proposed solutions Prepare, submit and follow up quotations Effectively communicate client needs both internally and to the external sales managers Collect, distribute and document competitive intelligence Sales Engineer Requirements: Previous experience as a Sales Engineer would be highly advantageous but not essential as training will be provided Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications and sell complex engineering solutions Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with customers Strong commercial awareness Solid technical/engineering background with an understanding of mechanical and/or electromechanical products Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent presentation and creativity skills Honesty, integrity, a passion for engineering and a willingness to learn
