Sales Estimator
Our client is a Bradford-based engineering concern, manufacturing heating and cooling equipment for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) markets. Founded 125 years ago, they are well-known and well-respected in the industry. They are an autonomous part of a global engineering group listed on the London Stock Exchange. They are now looking to recruit a Sales Estimator to join their team.

Sales Estimator - Job Description:
Reporting to the Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for:

Receiving enquiries via telephone and email
Evaluating specification documents and GA drawings identifying product requirements
Preparing quotations for standalone equipment and prefabricated skid packages
Sending quotations to customers
Compiling technical submittals
Managing multiple projects at one time
Communication with customers regarding projects
Discussing projects with external sales
Processing orders
Working with line manager and other departments to comply and improve company processes
Providing ad-hoc support as needed to other departments

Sales Estimator - Skills and Experience:

Preferred Experience - HVAC – Commercial / Industrial HVAC or Process industry experience, Customer Service/Estimating/Sales
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Able to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines
Proven work experience in a similar role
Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
Driving License

Salary & Benefits:

Salary c£28K - £30K DOE
Full Time/Permanent position
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Flexi-time / WFH
25-days holiday p.a. plus Public Holidays
Company Pension
