Sales Estimator - Windows / Glass / Glazing

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate sales estimates for windows, glass, and glazing projects based on client specifications and site measurements.
  
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide product information, and clarify project requirements.
  
• Utilise Microsoft Office programmes such as Excel and Word to compile quotations, cost analyses, and project documentation.
  
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining high levels of organisation and time management.
  
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop customised solutions that meet client expectations while adhering to budget constraints.
  
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery timelines for materials.
  
• Present proposals to clients confidently, highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions of products offered.
  
• Maintain up -to -date knowledge of industry trends, product innovations, and software tools such as AWS and Azure that support estimating processes.
  
• Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and industry regulations.
  

Experience

• Proven experience in sales estimation or a related role within the windows, glass or glazing sector is preferred.
  
• Strong presentation skills coupled with excellent customer service abilities.
  
• Proficiency in communication skills—both written and verbal—in English is essential.
  
• Demonstrable competence in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and organisational tools such as Microsoft Word.
  
• Familiarity with cloud -based platforms like AWS and Azure is advantageous for data management tasks.
  
• Good IT skills with an understanding of estimating software or specialised industry programmes is desirable.
  
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  
• Previous experience in the construction or manufacturing industries involving glazing products will be considered an asset.
