Job Description - Sales Executive

Commercial Sales Executive - Tunbridge Wells

Up to £65,000 + Uncapped Commission

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a results-driven Commercial Sales Executive to join a leader in the financial services sector. With a focus on the mid-corporate commercial space, this role offers autonomy, high-quality leads, and the chance to make a real impact across key sectors.

The Role:
This is a new business development role where the successful candidate will:

Secure and grow a portfolio of mid-sized commercial clients (typically £10K+ premium cases).
Focus on sectors such as Motor Trade, Fleet, Construction, Property Owners, Manufacturing, and Retail.
Deliver tailored solutions and cross-sell wider propositions including financial services, risk management, and consultancy.
Represent the agency at industry events, network locally, and drive brand visibility.
Maintain strong compliance standards and a customer-first ethos.

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in commercial insurance sales, with a strong track record of new business success.
Skilled in handling larger premium clients and complex commercial cases.
Self-motivated, organised and professional with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
A commercial mindset with the ability to work independently.
Ideally has knowledge of key industry sectors and/or experience within an agency.
Cert CII qualified or working towards it is a bonus.
