Job Description - Sales Executive

Location: Peterborough HQ
Salary: £30,000 base with uncapped commission
OTE: £45,000–£65,000+
Package: Full sales training, progression opportunities, pension

Trade Mastermind is one of the UK’s fastest‑growing business education and coaching companies, supporting more than 5,000 trade business owners in rapidly scaling their operations. Founded by BBC The Apprentice winner Joseph Valente, the company is known for delivering market‑leading training programmes that help construction entrepreneurs achieve significant business growth. Due to continued expansion, we are now looking for motivated Sales Executives to join our high‑energy outbound sales team at our brand‑new 20,000 sq. ft. Trade Mastermind University headquarters.

This is a full end‑to‑end sales role where you will take complete ownership of the client journey. You will make high‑volume outbound calls to warm leads, engage construction business owners, and convert them into attendees for our £97 Discovery Day business training events. You will manage your own sales pipeline from initial outreach through to the day of the event, ensuring prospects are fully supported, nurtured, and ready to meet with you in person. On the day of the event, you will meet your clients face‑to‑face, build relationships, and close sales directly with them in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering confident, professional outbound calls, following structured frameworks, overcoming objections, and consistently working toward daily, weekly, and monthly targets. You will track your own KPIs, manage your pipeline proactively, and ensure every client receives a high‑quality experience. Your success in this position directly drives the performance of the wider business, making you the front end and closing point of the entire Trade Mastermind sales engine.

In return, you will receive a £30,000 base salary with completely uncapped commission potential. You will earn commission not only on closed sales but also on ticket sales, with additional monthly incentives and bonus structures designed to reward high performance. You will benefit from full sales training, daily coaching, and a clear, fast‑track progression route into Senior Sales Executive, Team Leader, Telesales Manager, High‑Ticket BDM, or Sales Manager positions. Private healthcare, pension contributions, 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and access to our impressive new headquarters are all included.

To be successful, you must have a minimum of three years’ outbound phone sales experience, a proven history of closing sales, strong pipeline management ability, and confidence working in a high‑call‑volume environment. You should be energetic, resilient, target‑driven, and comfortable handling objections while maintaining professionalism at all times. This role requires someone who enjoys the full sales cycle, thrives under pressure, and is excited by face‑to‑face selling as well as phone‑based conversion.

This position is not suitable for candidates who prefer inbound‑only sales, those with experience limited to appointment setting without closing, or individuals who do not enjoy working to ambitious targets and structured KPIs. It also will not suit someone who is uncomfortable with in‑person selling at live events.
