Account Manager – Freight Services
Location: Halesowen
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced sales professional looking to build your career in the freight and logistics industry? We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing team in Halesowen.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and developing customer accounts while promoting a range of freight and logistics services. You'll build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, and ensure customers receive outstanding service from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
Develop strong relationships with clients to maximise sales opportunities.
Promote and sell a range of freight and logistics services.
Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure excellent customer service.
Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity using the CRM system.

About You

Previous sales experience is essential, ideally within freight, logistics, transport, or a business-to-business environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive approach to winning and retaining business.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
