Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic team at Heathrow Airport, London. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences whilst maximising sales opportunities in one of the world's busiest travel hubs. You will work with a diverse clientele of national and international travellers, providing expert advice and building lasting relationships that drive business growth. Your passion for sales, combined with your customer-focused approach, will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious targets and establishing our brand as the preferred choice for discerning travellers.

  • Deliver outstanding face-to-face customer service to national and international clients, creating memorable experiences that encourage repeat business and positive recommendations
  • Identify and capitalise on sales opportunities by actively engaging with customers and understanding their specific travel and service requirements
  • Provide expert product knowledge across our full range of services and offerings, confidently advising customers on options that best suit their needs
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through consistent effort, strategic customer engagement, and effective closing techniques
  • Manage customer transactions with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring all documentation is completed thoroughly and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive, supportive team environment that prioritises customer satisfaction and collective success
  • Respond promptly and empathetically to customer enquiries and concerns, resolving issues with transparency and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement and strategic planning

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • Proven sales talent with a genuine motivation to succeed and a natural ability to build rapport with diverse customers
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively to customers from varied backgrounds
  • Strong people skills and a service-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer support
  • Experience in sales, service, tourism, or a related customer-facing sector
  • Reliability, responsibility, and professional integrity in all dealings with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with a willingness to adapt to operational requirements
  • Valid UK driving licence with a minimum of 12 months' driving experience
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and identify appropriate solutions

**Desirable Skills and Experience:**

  • Previous experience working in an airport, travel, or tourism environment
  • Multilingual capabilities, particularly in European or Asian languages
  • Experience in modelling sales forecasts and analysing performance metrics
  • Knowledge of travel industry products, services, and customer trends
  • Eligibility or willingness to obtain airport security clearance
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or sales software
  • Certification or training in sales techniques, customer service, or hospitality
